Hello Glenbrook Families!
Inspiration
As we enter this season of light and reflection, December invites us to pause and embrace the power of hope. Hope is more than a wish—it’s the quiet confidence that brighter days are ahead, even when challenges arise. It’s what helps us persevere, dream big, and support one another.
In our school community, hope shines through in the laughter of children, the dedication of staff, and the care families show every day. Together, we create an environment where every student feels valued and inspired to reach their potential.
This month let’s celebrate the small moments that spark hope—kind words, acts of generosity, and the joy of learning. May this season bring peace to your homes, warmth to your hearts, and a renewed sense of possibility for the year ahead.
Thank you for partnering with us in nurturing a hopeful future for all. Thank you again for taking the time to connect with your child/children’s teacher during Parent Conferences.
Wishing you a joyful December and a hopeful New Year!
Take care,
Cindy & Tracey

School Council Message:
There’s lots happening with Parent Council, and we’re excited to share a few updates with you:
Healthy Hunger
Our next Healthy Hunger Fun Lunch is Waffles & Chix on December 17. Order cut off date is Friday, December 12.
Healthy Hunger is an easy online fundraising program that lets parents order special hot lunches and treats for their children while supporting our school. A portion of every order goes directly back to Glenbrook, helping fund activities and resources for our students. Simply sign up at Healthy Hunger, select our school, your child’s class, and start ordering!
Fundraising
Thank you for all of you who helped us with our fundraising initiatives. Your coffee and popcorn will be arriving soon and we can’t wait to let you know how much we have raised for our playground project!
Teacher & Staff Appreciation
On Friday, December 19 Parent Council will be hosting a staff appreciation lunch. We could use your help! Here is where you can help:
- We would love to have some generic notes and cards for our teachers and staff to read. If you and your children are able to send in a card or note please drop them off in the office and they will get to us.
- Christmas Baking! If you are a baker (or someone who buys baking) we would love to have some available for our appreciation event.
- We would also like to have 2 fruit trays and 2 veggie trays donated.
- We could use some help with set up and tear down as well.
If you are available to help please email Parent Council at glenbrookpc@gmail.com or look for our sign up genius link which will go out next week.
