Hello Glenbrook Families!

At Glenbrook School we all work together to support our students.

Our building continues to be a busy place over the next two weeks and we just want to remind you that we are here for you and know that you will be busy keeping the learning going for all our students as we head toward the break.

We have a lot on the go over the next two weeks before break and we just want to remind you that we are here for you and know that you will be busy keeping the learning going for all our students as we head toward the break. Winter Break can be a stressful time and while there is always a lot to be grateful for, there can often be stressors that impact us at this time of year as well. Reach out - we are a community and connected.

We want to make sure that each of our children has a champion in their lives.  Be Their Champion. Advocate for your children. Believe in their potential even when they struggle to believe in themselves. Your support can make all the difference in helping them overcome their challenges.

Have an amazing weekend everyone!

Thank you for all you do,

Cindy & Tracey

Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities

Staff Appreciation Holiday Lunch

We all know how hard Glenbrook teachers, administrators and support staff work throughout the year. As a way to show our appreciation for all they do for our families, we will be having a "soup-er" lunch for our "soup-er" staff on Friday, December 13. We need your help to make this work!  Please sign up to bring an item for lunch, or you can send Parent Council an e-transfer to glenbrookpc@gmail.com and we can purchase items for you. Please sign up using this link:  https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E0D4CACAA2BABFB6-53581179-staff#/

Fun Lunch Volunteers

We need your help with distributing fun lunches to students on Wednesday,

Dec. 18! It will only take about an hour of your time but it will really help out the lunch supervisors. Please sign up using this link:  https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E0D4CACAA2BABFB6-53581504-funlunch

Meeting

Our next School Council meeting will be held on Thursday, Jan. 23 at 7:00 pm. As always, all parents and guardians are encouraged to attend.

Fun Lunch

Our next fun lunch is Saucy Bread Company on Wednesday, December 18.  Parents/guardians must go to www.healthyhunger.ca to purchase your child’s lunch by Friday, Dec. 13.  Students who have not purchased online will not be receiving a fun lunch.  If your student is not in attendance on the day of Fun Lunch you can call the school office to arrange for pick up or let the school know if they can donate the lunch.

All fun lunches for the school year are now set up on Healthy Hunger.  You can order one at a time, a few at a time, or for the whole year!  Please note that December's fun lunch will be on the third Wednesday of the month (18) rather than the normal Thursday.
