Adolescent Mental Health and Anxiety | Family & Caregiver Well-Being Session
As part of a continued effort to support the well-being of students, CBE is committed to sharing valuable information about child and youth well-being with families and caregivers.
This is the fourth (of five) sessions available for families and caregivers, this time focusing on 'adolescent mental health and anxiety'.

Student-Led Conferences
We are excited to celebrate the success of Glenbrook students at our upcoming Student Led Conferences. This is one of the ways teachers communicate how your child is progressing in their learning. Students will lead parents through their learning activities and share their learning experiences with you. I know that all of our Glenbrook Grizzlies are eager to share what they know with you.
Student Learning Conferences will take place during the evening of Thursday, March 21, 2024 between 4:30 - 8:00pm and the morning of Friday, March 22, 2024 from 8:00am - 1:00pm.

We wish everyone a safe and happy Spring break which takes place from March 23 - April 1. Students return to school on Tuesday, April 2.
Reminder: Scholastic Book Fair is Coming!
Get ready! The Scholastic Book Fair is coming our way (YAY!). Choosing their own books empowers kids and inspires them to become Bolder, Prouder, and Stronger Readers.
Here’s what you need to know about the Fair, which will take place from Monday, March 18 to Friday, March 22 at Glenbrook School in the Library.
All purchases benefit our school and earn Scholastic Dollars that can be redeemed for books and educational resources for our classrooms and school library.
We are still in need of some volunteers to cover some shifts so we can have a successful book fair. Sign up via Signup Genius!
Times available for volunteering:
Tuesday, March 19: 9:30am - 10:30am; 10:45am - 11:45am: 1:00pm - 2:00pm
Thursday, March 21: 9:15am - 10:45am; 9:30am - 11:30am, 9:45am - 11:45am, 1:00pm - 3:00pm, 2:00pm - 3:30pm, 4:15pm - 6:15pm, 4:30pm - 6:30pm, 5:00pm - 7:00pm, 6:15pm - 8:15pm (2 spots).

School Council
Fun lunch
Our next fun lunch is Subway on Thursday, March 21. Parents/guardians must go to www.healthyhunger.ca to purchase your child’s lunch by Saturday, March 16. Students who have not purchased online will not be receiving a fun lunch. If your student is not in attendance on the day of Fun Lunch you can call the school office to make an arrangement for pick up. If they do not hear from you they will donate the lunch.
Meeting
Please join us for our next School Council and Fundraising Society meetings on Tuesday March 19 at 7:00pm. at the school. We always hear an update from Mrs. Palmer and Mrs. Bombard as well as discuss upcoming events at the school, how to use our fundraising dollars, and other happenings at Glenbrook School. These meetings are where parents can share their ideas and opinions and everyone is welcome!
Playground Committee
Did you know that Glenbrook School will need a new playground soon? We are in the very early steps of forming our playground committee. We need YOU to help make our playground dreams into reality. Please contact Kayla at glenbrookpc@gmail.com if you would like to be involved.
Family Dance
Family Dance - We are so excited to announce that our Annual Family Dance is making a comeback for the first time since 2020! All Glenbrook families are invited to attend on Thursday, April 18 at 6:30pm. We will have a DJ, concession, photo booth and lots of door prizes! Admission is by donation. As this is a family event, all children must attend with an adult.

Did you know that we have an ongoing fundraiser with Mabel's Labels? These amazing labels are dishwasher and laundry safe, last forever and come in lots of fun designs. Place your order online and it will get shipped straight to your door. School Council will receive a 20% commission!
