Hello Glenbrook Families!
March has arrived…. remember how long January seemed and now we have rolled into March this week with a snowfall to remind us that in the spring we still see snow.
March brings the renewed hope of Spring. An opportunity for warmer weather. Buds and leaves beginning to sprout and the first flowers of the season. I am always amazed at how quickly things can change with the warmth of the sun and the longer hours of sunlight that each day brings. The sun is shining and that truly makes the day a success – happiness, a feeling of lightness and anticipation of longer days, and sunshine help us to think forward to all that spring can bring. With Spring Break on the horizon and Parent Teacher Conferences, this is a short month that we know will go by quickly.
Grab your sunnies and take some time to enjoy the fresh air, blue skies and the warmth of the sun this weekend.

How will spring show up for you? How will you embrace the longer days and warmer sunlight?

School Conferences
We are excited to celebrate the success of our Glenbrook students. Parent-Teacher Conferences are one of the ways teachers communicate how your child is progressing in their learning. Teachers may also share learning progress through your child’s daily work and assignments, and other ongoing communication with you.
Our next round of Student Learning Conferences will take place during the evening of March 20 and the morning of March 21, 2025. This year the March conferences will be held online. You will receive a sign up link on Friday, March 14 to sign up for a conference with your child’s teacher. The online booking portal will close on Wednesday March 19 at 11:59 PM.
Please remember to sign up for a MyCBE account to book a Conference time and to view other on-line documents. Conference meetings will not be booked through the school office.
School Development Plan Engagement Survey
The SDP Engagement Survey is in place to provide feedback from families on school planning, which includes the school development plan, school budget, and school fees. When students, staff and families work together, students experience greater success. This is also where you can give your feedback about clubs, fieldtrips and other activities. It will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete. We thank in advance for taking part in the survey.

Our School Development Plan can be found on our website here: https://glenbrook.cbe.ab.ca/school
We appreciate all of your responses and welcome your feedback.
