Glenbrook School came together to create a collaboration in honour of Orange Shirt Day. Each student in the school created a handprint and some students wrote what reconciliation means to them and/or how they will commit to Truth and Reconciliation. In music class, Mr. Kowalchuk taught the whole school how to sing 'O Canada' in the Cree language. The school leadership club went around to classrooms and read books about orange shirt day and gave out pins to those students who did not have orange to wear. We are proud of the acknowledgement that our students have shown toward the meaning behind Orange Shirt Day.
