School Parking Lot: No student drop off or pickups should take place in the staff parking lot. The school parking lot is for staff and visitor/guest use only. We ask that families/parents do not park in the school lot before and after school when dropping off your child. Please park on 33 AVE SW or 35 AVE SW or one of the adjacent streets and walk to the school. It is not safe for children to be walking through our parking lot.
If you arrive late at the school after the 9:15 AM bell, please come to the front door to enter the school.
Breakfast Program
This year we are fortunate to continue to have a breakfast program for students and families in need. All students are invited to enter the school and eat breakfast between 9:05 AM – 9:15 AM before school starts. Please enter through your regular entrance doors.
Keeping our School Clean
Please help us keep our school yard clean by placing waste into the garbage bins provided on the school yard. If you borrow books from the Free Little Library, please ensure the doors close on the library and the books inside are tidied up after looking. All students should have two pairs of shoes – one indoor and one for outside activities. These should be clearly labelled with your child’s name. Soccer cleats are not acceptable indoor or outdoor attire as these track mud and dirt into our school. Students are not permitted to wear or bring cleats to school for this reason.
Bus Transportation
If your child is absent from the bus, please call the office to inform them of his/her absence before the end of the school day.
Bus attendance is taken every day by the bus driver, and all students must be accounted for before the bus leaves school.
