Message from Administration

School Symbol

Dear Glenbrook Families,

At Glenbrook School, we believe that three interconnected conditions help every child thrive: Well-Being, Engagement, and Achievement.

Teachers have been working throughout this school year to implement strategies that keep these three priorities at the forefront of our everyday work.

Students are at the heart of every decision we make. The words surrounding our school symbol represent the growth we hope to nurture in all children.

Our Three Priorities

Well-Being

Students feel safe, connected, valued, and supported.

Engagement

Students actively participate in their learning, contribute their ideas, and see themselves as capable decision-makers.

Achievement

Students develop the knowledge, skills, confidence, and perseverance needed for success.

Educating the Whole Child

This visual serves as more than a logo. It is a daily reminder of our commitment to educating the whole child.

Throughout the year, students and staff will use this framework to reflect on learning experiences, celebrate growth, and identify goals.

Whether students are building friendships, tackling challenging learning tasks, or developing new skills, we want them to see how each experience contributes to their well-being, engagement, and achievement.

By keeping these three priorities visible in our learning spaces, we are helping students understand that success at school is not only about academic results.

Success also includes feeling a sense of belonging, being actively involved in learning, and developing the confidence to reach one's full potential.

Together, we are creating a school community where every student can Learn, Belong, and Succeed.

Wishing all our Glenbrook families a wonderful week ahead!

Fall Break Reminder: Fall Break takes place November 11–15. Students will return to school on Monday, November 16.

Sincerely,

Diana & Cindy

School Council Message

Volunteer Coordinator Needed

Hello Parents,

We're looking for a parent to take on the role of Volunteer Coordinator to help make our fundraising efforts run smoothly.

This person would work alongside our Fundraising Coordinator and Chair to:

  • Organize volunteer sign-ups.
  • Connect interested parents with opportunities to help.
  • Maintain a contact list of volunteers for upcoming events.

Could you help us fill this role?

If you're organized, enjoy connecting with others, and can contribute some time throughout the year, we'd love to have you join the team!

Please reply to the original School Council email to express your interest or ask any questions.

Even if you can't take on the coordinator role, we'd love to know if you're willing to volunteer occasionally at fundraising events.
