Dear Glenbrook Families,

We are very excited to share that students will be participating in our annual Terry Fox Run this Thursday, September 17, from 3:00-3:30 p.m. on the school field!

We look forward to coming together as a school community to honour Terry Fox and his incredible legacy while supporting cancer research. Family members are more than welcome to come and participate or watch the event on Thursday! Please make sure your child is dressed for the weather and has appropriate running shoes for safety.

Fundraising

This year, we have set a school-wide goal of raising $500 for the Terry Fox Foundation, which supports cancer research. While our school run will take place this Thursday, we will continue collecting donations until the end of September.

Teachers vs. Student Soccer

Students know that if we reach our school goal of $500, we will celebrate with a teachers vs. students soccer game!

If you would like to make an online donation, please visit  Glenbrook's Terry Fox fundraising page, click the red “Donate” button, and follow the steps provided.

Cash/Offline Donations:

If you would like to send cash with your child, they can bring it to school and give it to their homeroom teacher. We are encouraging students to bring “A Toonie for Terry” as a simple way to contribute to our school-wide goal!
